Why is it so cheap?
Because we’re not normal retail.
We buy stock in awkward ways. Clearance lines. Overstock. End-of-line products. Job lots. Pallets of things that were sitting in the wrong warehouse annoying the wrong person.
That means we can sell good stuff at stupid prices.
It also means when it’s gone, it’s probably gone. We can’t always get more. We often don’t even know how we got it in the first place.
How Banana works
1. We find strange stock
Bike parts, outdoor gear, tools, salvage, useful kit and occasional nonsense.
2. We buy it properly cheap
Usually because someone needs space, cash, sanity or all three.
3. You get the bargain
The deal is simple: if you like it, buy it before someone else does.

A load of good sunglasses turned up. We bought them. Now they’re cheap. That’s the whole business model, really.
We cleared out Superstar Components
Neil at Superstar had a huge amount of old stock sat about, so we took the transit down and made him an offer for it. That’s why we’ve got grips, clamps, tools and parts at prices that look like a mistake.
Why is there marine salvage?
Because sometimes you go looking for bike bits and come back with a ship’s clock. Don’t overthink it.
